Honoring Gina’s 15 Years at Community Bank

Gina Schultz celebrates 15 years with Community Bank. Read about her most memorable moments and favorite parts of her job as she reflects on the past 15 years.

Do you remember what your first day with Community Bank was like? That was 15 years ago…. I can hardly remember what happened last week!! What I do remember is coming back to work with a baby at home. I was so nervous about how it was all going to play out — but thankfully, it turned out to be amazing. I have been able to be a very involved mother while also building a career.

What has changed since you started? A lot has changed! The whole structure of the company has changed. Plus, I started on the teller line, opening accounts that don’t even exist anymore.

What do you enjoy most about Community Bank? I enjoy the people I work with and the family atmosphere. I have great coworkers and wonderful employers! They have given me the ability to be involved on a daily basis with my kids throughout their school years. Community Bank has always supported that, and I truly appreciate it more then I could ever convey.

Share a memory you’ll never forget. The Covid years…oh boy, was that something to live through! Julie Pflueger and I had to tag team. One of us worked from home and the other in the office and switched back and forth. Up until that point, neither of us had ever worked from home so to try and figure out how we were going to make all the processing work was a feat. Despite the challenges, we survived. It was quite the experience that I will never forget!
